Artist Bio
Welcome! I’m Symone, a tattoo artist with 6 years of experience and the proud owner of Ashton Ink Tattoo Studio. After dedicating over 3 years to learning about scars and specialising in cover-ups, I provide monthly free cover-ups for those in need.
Recognising the gap in available services for scar cover-ups and the discomfort many feel approaching artists, I started this initiative to support my community and enhance my skills. Each cover-up I complete brings me closer to my goal of helping as many people as possible.
With the guidance of journalist @Meganl.bond, I’ll be sharing client experiences through the Under The Ink Podcast, while this profile focuses solely on scar cover-ups. Expect to see before and afters, testimonials, podcast snippets, fundraising events, and education on the psychological impacts of scar tattooing.

As soon as I saw Symone’s profile online, I knew she was the person I wanted to custom design a tattoo for me. I have wanted my scars covered for years but it was important to me to have them covered by someone I knew I could trust.
